Birch
Workspaces since 2020

One place for the work your team actually shares.

Birch is a quiet workspace for notes, files and decisions. People use the app. Scripts use the API. Both see the same documents.

What a workspace holds

Pages

Notes and decisions live next to the files they refer to. Invite the people who need them, and leave everyone else out.

Sync API

A bearer token and one stream of changes. Your own tools stay in step without a separate export.

History

Every edit keeps its author and time. Restore an earlier version, or see who changed a page and when.

How a team starts

  1. Create a workspace and invite people by email. They sign in at birch-meadow.justext.space.
  2. Put the work there. Pages, files and short decisions, instead of another shared drive.
  3. Connect a tool with a token from the account page. The change stream is described in the docs.
